Line transfers

I attempted to transfer billing responsibilities for two lines from our family group plan. It went through the process even showed me what my new bill was going to look like then at end I received email stating only one line was transferred why?

Greetings @Jrubio00,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We understand there are concerns on why the other line wasn't transferred.

  • Have you tried resubmitting the transfer?
  • Have you made sure the requirements are met?
  • Was there an error message received?

Ive re-attempted 2 mire times with customer service I was even told it had been taken care of but it’s still not done. According to customer service rep requirements were met and no error message has been given.

Hey there @Jrubio00!

Let's try looking into this for you. Are you requesting the owner of a wireless number to take responsibility of your account or are you the owner trying to take over the billing responsibility of other accounts.

If you're the current owner try resolving your experience by having the other accounts request the transfer:

  1. Go to Transfer of Billing Responsibility request center.
  2. Select Request a transfer from another person.
  3. Enter the requested info.
  4. Select Submit.

If you have an Unlimited Your Way or AT&T 4GB plan, you’ll have to go to a store with the person accepting the transfer of billing responsibility.

Let us know how this worked.
