Is this a legit AT&T number?
Got a notice from a past due balance. I am wondering if the phone number 833-895-0323 is a legitimate AT&T number. The people who are picking up the phone have thick Indian accents. So I am wondering if this is some kind of scam. The letter didn't even have any return address and wants to pay to a P.O. Box number.

Pay to a P.O. Box number? Scam fer sure. Just check out your account on the AT&T website. That will show if there is an amount past due. The fact that you called just told whomever at the other end that they have a "live one". Anytime you get something like that it's better to check your account information first via the AT&T website. If all is fine, forget about the notice. If not, then deal directly with AT&T there.
