iPhone XR Trade In Credit Never Applied in Full
I came over to AT&T back in November and traded in my iPhone XR that was in great shape to AT&T for a free iPhone 13 (installment credits.) - The only thing I ever got for my trade in was $135 - What on gods green earth? I thought I signed up for the $800 trade in promo back a few months ago and I only got $135 credit? Can someone help me reverse this or who do I need to contact? I'm in the Army National Guard and have the military program but I need this credit. Can someone help or have any advice?

We're here to look into your trade-in credit inquiry, mitchstem!
This usually happens when your device doesn't meet all the qualifications. If this is the case then you'll only receive a one time credit for the value of the phone. You'll want to reach out to our Trade-in Support to inquire why you only received the trade-in value amount. They can also be reached at 877.244.9829.
We'd like to gather a few more details from you so we can assist you to the best of our ability:
Please return and share the feedback you receive from trade-in support along with answering the questions above in your reply. Then we can provide additional research and work towards a work around to get your promotion applied!
We look forward to your reply!

I think you should call or message their support, they can better answer your question and will surely solve your issue, if it is one by mistake then they will definitely solve it for you.

If you got a one-time credited means you weren't enrolled in the upgrade and trade-in deal . There's a couple of reasons for that :
1. The code was not included for the promotion.
2. You aren't on the required unlimited data plan.
3. You suspended service before credits began.
If number 2 and number 3 do not apply, and you are still on an unlimited data plan, it is likely that the code was not included correctly. If a t t help through the Forum cannot correct your promotion you can file a Better Business Bureau complaint online. The complaint is forwarded to AT&T upper management who will call you.

I called customer service on my phone by dialing *611 and I got it solved. I guess I didn’t apply for the promo but now I’m being back-credited next bill!

@mitchstem
If you haven't seen the credit yet, Marking Solutions may have been premature.

Unbelievable! I’m dealing with the same situation. Was told I’ll get $700 for trade in value and only got $130. Now saying my plan wasn’t Eligible but now it is? When will Att start telling the truth instead of lies to get us to sign contracts with them. I was conned into signing a contract with them when I didn’t have one anymore with the promise of $700 trade in value. $130? Ridiculous. Next time I’m going to another server-I hear Verizon doesn’t have issues like this

When did you sign up? What phone did you trade in? What plan did you/do you have?
You aren't under a contract. Your only obligation is to pay for the phone you purchased. You can leave at any time.
