how much will cost me to add my iPad in my plan

If your iPad has cellular, it is only $10 a month line fee on a mobile share plan ( and possibly an increase if you need more data in your plan ). If you have a mobile phone with hot spot capability, it will get a better connection using your phone's hot spot than using the weak cellular connection on the iPad 2.

Where are you getting that the iPad 2 had a "weak cellular connection"? Although I never owned an iPad 2, I did own the original iPad with cellular connection, and if anything the larger size of a tablet just means there is more room for antennas and a big battery.

The wifi connectivity is current technology. Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n)

The cellular is not.
3G GSM model also includes: UMTS/HSDPA
