Installment plan 800 dollars off not shown

Went into an at&t store and showed my current phone to sign up for the 800 dollars off towards the iPhone 12 with trade in worth 95 or more. The store rep signed me up and now on my account I can see that I am going to be billed monthly for the 800 dollar phone, but can find no evidence of anything saying I’ll be credited for 800 dollars. Was some mistake made? Or does it not at all say you’re going to be credited till you bring in your trade in?
