How long does it take att to turn service on and apply 50 percent credit

I was told I had a credit of 243 dollars just to pay more then half of my past due and service will be restored. I paid everything I needed to but myAT&T app shows I still owe the 243 dollars that inwas credited for being loyal customer ? How long once I have paid the amount I needed to for the service to be reinstated and credit be applied. The agent I spoke to assured me the credit was listed and if I paid service would be restored. But my account under credits doesn’t show the credit and I know it exist because I spent hours on phone regarding the credit

If you are logged into your account and the credit is not showing, then it's not there and service has not been restored. Try logging out. Then log back in again. When you log back in that should refresh the page and you should be able to see whether or not a credit has been applied. If you still don't see a credit applied then it wasn't applied.  I have no idea if they will apply a credit during business hours today. Or whether they have any intention of applying a credit.

I keep thinking they make these offers to entice someone to pay something, which indicates to them that you do have funds to pay, you're just choosing not to.

Let's point you in the right direction to help with turning your services back on, @Castroa2.

Special thanks to our ACE, @formerlyknownas, for their quick response.

Our first recommendation would be to use this resource to restore your wireless service. Since you've already indicated that you paid your past due amount, try the following:

  1. Wait five minutes.
  2. Turn your device off and on again to reactivate your service. You can also try clearing your cache and cookies via your browser or you can uninstall the app and reinstallment it, then log back in. Monthly plan fees continue even while service is suspended. Your next bill will contain a service reconnection or restoral fee.

Just a few quick questions. Please share the wireless plan that you have and why were the services suspended.

We're asking because we want to pin point why there is a delay with your account being properly credited for your recent payment.

We look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks so much for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!
