Hello @Chicfranco5!

Welcome to the Community Forums! I understand how important it is to be current with payments, I would be glad to help out.

I’d be more than happy to help with getting this taken care of! When an account shows on your credit report, it sometimes is listed with a contact number. If you do not see a specific name mentioned, we do have our Collections department, which can be reached at 1.800.947.5096.

I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Hello, my name is Christian *****. I would to pay off this collection debt that I have with your company. I'm not working at the moment so I'd like to negotiate the lowest amount possible so I can start making monthly payments once I received the agreement in black and white in the mail..

Thank you,
Christian [edited for privacy-please do not post personal or unique information such as but not limited to full names, employee ID numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, etc.]

I would like to pay my bill from collections but I don't remember my phone number or account number that was associated with ATT. I would like the old bill be sent to me. I would like to pay it off starting now.

I just spoke with a representative at 1.800.947.5096 and she gave me a totally different phone number of 1.888.757.6500 which she was unable to transfer me internally.

You've ignored numerous bills and didn't pay them, now you complain that it's in collections and don't know what to do. Then you blame ATT for giving you the wrong number. Grow up and take responsibility.

Hi My account is showing that it was reported to a collections agency. I should have paid the little that I could to have prevented this from happening but I didn’t and take full responsibility.  I am currently owing $950. I can make a payment of about $650 in the next two weeks and have the $300 paid off over the next three months. Would that be possible to do I have to pay off the full amount when I’m making a payment? And can I pay it directly from my AT&T account or do I need to contact the collections company?

Hello ATT team,

I also had a payment missed and had relocated to a different state. However i was notified recently that the account was sent to collections. I did make the payment and but its still appearing on my report.

Can you please help me get this collection of my report.

Regards,

your ATT customer.

You'll have to call and ask someone to be sure, but I can almost 100% guarantee the answer will be no.

Honestly, AT&T probably doesn't want the equipment, especially if it's not the latest model, and it will cost them money to get it from you.

They'd rather have the money, just like you do.

I paid off an account with the collection agency in june 2018. They have never reported it to the 3 credit agencies. Now ATT has no record of the account and trying to be transferred to the collection agency is useless. I need the account marked paid and off my credit report. What is the direct collection number?

Good Afternoon,

I have a collection for service which I was discussing with the internal AT&T collections department recently. Unfortunately, the call was disconnected shortly after the closing time. I typically work M-F 8-4:30PM CST, however, am currently picking up large amounts of overtime until 7:30PM. Is there any way to receive email regarding my process, or is the internal collections department open weekends? I have no intention of interaction with the external debt collection agency, and wish to settle this debt and resume service with AT&T; please advise.
