Help with FRAUD

Someone has opened an account and purchased an iPhone 11 in my name and at my address. I have been on hold with fraud for over 4 hours. Can you help?

This is a customer populated forum, not AT&T support. The best we can offer is advice on what to do if AT&T is unresponsive to your fraud complaint.

I do suggest that you run your credit report, change passwords and passcodes on all of your accounts. Secure your related email account. Check your bank statements.

Occasionally account fraud is also identity theft. If you find anything else please report it to your Police Department

OK, thanks for the information. I;ll keep waiting for the AT&T fraud department to answer the phone.

Hello,

Best option is to try online chat or go by local store to see if they can assist in process of notating account and getting in touch with fraud. Unfortunately the (Phone number hidden) and "fraud" when promoted for reason for calling is only way to address remotely. It's a big thing in mobile, so they are busy trying to follow the trail of the person creating the fraud.
