Getting two separate bills for two linked accounts

Hi there,

I have my and my wife's number under a single account. I do not necessary want to split the account, but is there any way that I can have two separate individual bills. I am asking this because I can expense my bill from my work but I cannot expense hers. That's why I don't want to show them our total bill. I hope you understand.

Please let me know if there is any way it can be done.

Thanks,

Biraj

No, not possible as long as both lines are on the same account. The only way to get two bills is two accounts and obviously two one line plans. The bill has separate charges for each line, there should be no problem expensing the charges for your line.

I deduct one phone line and my tablet as a business deduction and all of my five lines and tablet are on the same plan.  So splitting the bill is only going to cost you more for your wife’s line.
There is no reason you can’t print out your portion of the bill which will include all taxes to submit to your employer for reimbursements.
