Fraud and Deceptive Practices at the Lake Charles, LA Store

Buyer beware at the store. I went to Store at 2801 Derek Dr., Lake Charles, Louisanna and bought a wireless hotspot. After 12 days I return the hotspot and was told by the store manager I would get wave any fees associated with device after I sign up for home internet. Device was return and home internet active when I got a bill for the wireless hotspot device. I went back to the store and told them the account was not cancel and they reassured me it will. The same time I am paying my home internet. Received a collection call two months later that the wireless hotspot account was cancel and in collections due to nonpayment. Went back to the store and complain about the lack of canceling the wireless hotspot that was return 45 days prior. Again reassure the account will be credited and canceled. Now 90 days later get another collection call, went back to the same store manager was not in but reassure again it will resolve. Now trying to get another service with Att and can’t because the store manager never resolve the wireless hotspot issue. Called customer service and was told it was not my fault for not reassuring the account was cancel. The stores will lie and deceive you for your business. I will not recommend ATT to anyone and will share my experience with everyone. Very disappointed.
