Errors? Federal Universal Service Charge, State Gross Receipts Surcharge, County Sales Tax - Telecom and PA State Sales Tax - Telcom
I switched from a grandfathered plan to the new unlimited plan. On my first bill I see that the total for my Federal Universal Service Charge, State Gross Receipts Surcharge, County Sales Tax - Telecom and PA State Sales Tax - Telcom has increased from 2.03% of my total for plan, equipment and add ons to 11.82% of same. Not sure how the percentage paid for these could increase so drastically! It used to be that the charge for each for my "group" would roughly equal the charge for each for each of my lines but no more! Each line is being charged roughly 10 times more than the group! I suspect that this is an error in the AT&T billing system since it is so inconsistent with the previous charges. Has anyone else experienced this?

The customer service summary says right on it that it is not a bill. None of the discounts are included and the taxes are always way off. Taxes will not be significantly different from what they were on your previous plan. When I went from a Mobile Share value plan to an unlimited plan the tax difference was a few pennies for five lines

Did you actually receive your next bill, or are you looking at the Customer Service Summary? If it's the latter, ignore it. Those things always ignore discounts and grossly overestimate taxes and fees.
