Discount for autopay and paperless billing
Is there a $30.00 monthly discount for having both autopay and paperless billing? The local AT&T representative told my husband and me if we add autopay with our current paperless billing is a monthly $30.00 discount. My husband just purchased IPhone 13 Pro and upgraded the service to Unlimited talk, text, and data. It comes with HBO Max and hotspot for 1 year.

Possibly. The discount depends on what plan and how many lines. The discount on current plans is $10 per line so if you have a current plan with 3 lines, it would be $30. It sounds like you now have the Unlimited Elite plan, so the discount is $10 per line. Not sure what you mean by “It comes with HBO Max and hotspot for 1 year“, there is no year restriction.

3 phone lines....
The $10 per line is on phones lines if you have both auto pay and paperless billing.
Sounds like you got the elite plan. That plan is eligible for an additional $10 per line discount if you have any sort of discount through work, or even the $16 a year AARP membership
