Directbill with Google Playstore not working

I recently tried doing an in-app purchase with a mobile game. It has always worked before with being directly billed to my wireless plan.  Now when I do it, it says payment unsuccessful. Nothing has changed with my plan or phone. I don't have a purchase blocker either. How can I fix this issue? I also have tried removing it, then reading it to the payment options of the google store and it still doesn't work.  Phone I'm currently using is a Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Check out more information about Direct Billing to verify the purchases you have already made.  We also recommend you check if you have Smart Limits installed and if usage limits have been exceeded.


If after following the instructions above, you still need assistance, please reply back and answer the following questions:

  • When was the last time you were successfully able to bill an in-app purchase to your account?
  • Are you the account owner? If not,did you ask the account holder if they changed anything recently?

I currently dont have Smart Limits installed. The last time I was able to bill an in-app purchase was June 16, 2020. I am the account owner and my bill is up to date with no past due amounts
