Default gateway ping high - Please help!

I have a cable modem router C7000-100NAS.

I can't seem to figure out why when I ping the default gateway(192.168.0.1) I get high pings ranging from 8ms to 500 ms, this is NEVER below 2ms as it should be. I've even tried to connect using wired connection but still couldn't get something like as low as <4. I've tried disconnecting everything else, restarting/resetting the router https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ https://openweb.vip/whatsapp-web/

What does that have to do with ATT? Contact your internet provider.

This is the AT&T Wireless forum. Wireless equals cell phones not home internet. If AT&T is your home internet provider you should be posting in the internet forum. However that seems unlikely, which means you should be contacting your provider not AT&T

🐾 (The following is included after all posts to save typing) I don’t work for AT&T. My replies are based on experience and reading content available on the website. Our answers are honest, but not always appreciated. If you posted personal information, please edit and remove.

Anything new like

  • anti-virus/firewall/software updates

Laptop/PC issue only or mobile device too?

Persistent for longer than a day, or just started?

Anything less than 10 is pretty good IMO,

but if everything is the same as before, could be net traffic unusually high.
