Deceived and misled by AT&T
After I recently upgrading to an iPhone X, a week later I called customer service for a billing issues. The sales agent tried to sell me Directv and Internet. I said no and she asked me about my recent purchase she said did you know you are eligible to upgrade to a BOGO for your new iPhone. She shipped me a new iphone and said l would see credits for the new phone after 3 installments. Iinhas bee 5 billing cycles and i have not seen the credits. I have been calling for the last 2 months and no one is able to help or just flat out hang up. The agents are pressuring customer to buy more products and services from AT&T. Their practices are deceptive and misleadingly. I am filing a complaint with FCC and consumer affairs.

To get a BOGO phone you must buy both phones at the same time, not a week apart, and add a new line. Yes, I’d say that agent deceived you. Your FCC complaint will result in someone from ATT’s Office of the President contacting you. I hope they take care of you.
