Credit Score

I bought an iPhone XS Max out right before becoming an AT&T customer. I went in the store to talk about plans and building my credit. The employee informed me that it would be a great way to build my credit and I became a customer. This was a little over 6 months ago and I have yet to see a change in my credit. My payments are all autopay with my bank debit card. Can anyone tell me why I haven’t seen a change yet or when I will see one?

best way to establish a credit score is a secured credit card. After so many months of paying you get your secured deposit back with a real credit card limit. I started this way with a 300 dollar secured credit card and now have the same card with a 17k credit limit. Every couple months they raised my limit.

-------------------INCLUDED IN EACH POST FOR CLARIFICATION______
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Cellular, TV and internet do not help you build credit. However if you default on any of those it will ruin your credit for years worse than having a car repossessed or a home foreclosed
