Credit for returning used phone

I upgraded my phone and returned my old one a month again but I still haven't received a credit. How long will it take?

Hi @Moirat,

Thank you for reaching out. We would love to take a closer look.

We want to know if this was a trade-in for a new device or for credit.

If you had the old device on an installment contract and you traded it in before the contract tenure expires, we stop billing you for it and start you on a new contract with the new device. There are no credits due to you for the old device. However, if the old device is paid off in full and you trade it in for credit, then a credit based on the device's worth and working condition will be due to you.

Please let know so we can assist further.

Hi @Moirat

Bill credits may not appear until 2 or 3 bill cycles after you trade-in your device, so this is normal. If you don't see the credit on your statement next month, let us know and we can look into that for you.
