Collection notice from enhanced Recovery

Hello, I have received a Collection notice on my credit report from Enhanced Recovery about an outstanding ATT from years ago. I returned all equipment too ATT and only had setup service with them for a month before realizing the service did not work well for us in our country town and canceled the account.
this needs to get off my credit report as it has dropped my score. I have received nothing from Enhanced Recovery or any other service and this was over 2 years ago. Please get this taken off my credit report now. Thanks

Not how any of this works.

If you are being charged for service, that you did not pay for when you were briefly an AT&T customer, you should have paid for the service. If you are being charged for returned equipment to the tune of several hundred dollars, I hope you have proof that the equipment was returned, yes even though it was 2 years ago 😕

You posted in wireless, I assume that means that you purchased cell phone service. Cell phones would have to have been returned within 3 days and your phone numbers ported to a different service provider or canceled in order to owe a minimum for service. After 3 days and before 14 days you can return equipment/phones, probably will be charged to restock fee, and will be charged for a full month service. After 14 days you cannot return equipment/phones

AT&T sold the debt you have to deal with the collection agency. AT&T can’t do anything for you
