Claim Cancelled, Deductible Billed

I had put in a claim for a new phone with Assurion.  I called to cancel it before receiving new phone. When new phone arrived, I sent it back in original packing. I called Assurion to verify they received it back and the claim was cancelled and they agreed and made note of it.  I was still charged my deductible on billing month cycle #2.   If I don't pay the deductible, our phones will be shut off.  I have been getting the run around on the phone for TWO MONTHS! I cancelled the claim at the end of July.

Speaking to first-line Reps won't help.  File a Better Business Bureau complaint online. The complaint is forwarded to upper management who will contact you. They have the authority and the power to correct problems that first line reps cannot.

Meanwhile any proof that the phone has been returned to Asurion and your claim cancel should be collected so that you have that on hand
