Charged for returned equipment and no one is helping!!!!!

Ordered a Apple Watch 6 on 1/14/2021 online with a ATT representative . Received  it 1/16/2021. Returned it on 1/22/21 with the shipping label provided by ATT (tracking number 9202390100721444111243) . Att received the watch 2/6/21 per the confirmation email with RMA #607383058. Att charged me for full price of the phone  $512.32 on 2/18/21.  Since then I have been contacting and trying to get the credit back on my bill since then. I have paid anything over that amount each month and each month I get nasty reminders that my bill is past due and service will be interrupted. After many calls to customer service, I was bounced around to every department available and no resolution. Even went to a corporate store 2 times the past month and the representatives get the same results I do and nothing has been taken care of. Now once again I am in danger of having my services (wireless and internet) disconnected over this. They received the watch and yet still charged me for it. All I need is the charge reversed on my bill. I am not asking for any money or anything else. This has been going on for a total of 5 months now with no resolution just constant calls and frustration and no answers.

File a Better Business Bureau complaint online. Then fill out a notice of dispute. You can Google AT&T notice of disputes online.

I have filed with BBB, FCC, my local attorney general and any email associated with ATT corporate that I have been able to find. Thanks for the suggestion! 😁

And notice of dispute!

You need to guarantee your right to arbitration if filing BBB doesn't work.

   By the way, all of those alphabet complaints yield 1 results. You get a phone call from AT&T Office of the President. Filing all of those is redundant.

It may be redundant but I plan on shaking as many trees as possible! 😉

good luck. I had a rep sit in my living room and lie his butt off. At the time, i had been  tmobile customer for 10 years plus. He supposedly got me into a plan the would include wireless and tv for less. No charge for phones as long as i participated in autopay and monthly discount for bundling. Had phones for 4 days. Looked at my account (bank) and had multiple charges not authorized. Had 14days to return phones without being charged restocking fee. Returned them on the 4th day with reciept. Got a bill in the mail like 15 days later charging 55 per phone for 4 days and another bill for 100 restocking fee. Chatting several times with reps with no actions. Then got a call from sunrise credit and the rep argued with me about why i should pay 245.16 and I told him that I do not owe the money and if I did, i would pay it. He offered to lower the total to 125. I refused to agree because I do not owe it and that I did what I was supposed to. He then said at&t is a big company and don't care about the customers( obviously). I was in the process of trying ti buy a home and instead of trying to communicate with me they reported the balance to the credit bureau. Dropped my score and screwed me into a higher interest rate. I will never pay them but it goes to show what kind of company they are.

@Lorettam8803 Actually you do owe it. Restocking fees are charged unless you return the equipment unopened, and you are responsible for the monthly fees. It's all in the terms of service you agreed to at activation.

@Lorettam8803

That is incorrect.  Once you open boxes, you must pay restock fee.

You have 3 days to return and cancel and not owe activation or a month's full service.

On day 4 you are expected to pay activation and a full month.

   This is nearly universal ⬆️

You should always read stuff you sign.
