charged AT&T K006 9986 ESTOR
On the 8/2/2016 I just got the same charged AT&T K006 9968 Estor for $617.29, my bank will refund the money however the moral to the story was that every times my husband and I called AT&T to get details to the of what was charged on our account. It seem like no one/any employee at AT&T couldn't help nor provided us any useful information and kept directing us to different departments due to lack of knowledge of the company as a whole. Obviously, the transaction was being made by AT&T, if AT&T does not know what is being charged and how to track each of your own (AT&T) Transactions. How did your consumes trusted your business? Lucky we are not your customer and we know this charged was fraudulent. How are you (AT&T-company) going to deal with the fraud? Are you protection your consumers identity? The reason why I asked all these question my card that was being changed the billing address that they provided you does not matched with the current billing address because we had moved several months ago. We also got charged at Walmart.com on the same day but for some reasons Walmart does a lot better job than AT&T. Walmart was able the resolved the issued and stop the order process . Please don’t send me the genetic letter and wasted your time on the letter, just put your time how you can track your transactions better and we know that so many are also effect by this fraudulent charged.

I just received a fraudulent charge from AT&T K006 9968 ESTOR BETHLEHEM on January 28,2017 in the amount of $71.70, after I did a wireless upgrade. I contacted the Global Fraud department and they said there's nothing they can do. How do you require bank information to complete transactions and NOT keep the information secure? Then tell the consumer you can't help them after there accounts have been compromised. This is absolutley ridiculous!!

Hello @rach0176,
I understand it can be a scary situation when you don’t recognize a charge on your bank statement. Thank you for adding to this thread and bringing your issue to our attention via the Community Forums. I’d be more than happy to share some information with you in order for us to work towards a resolution.
Do you see the charge show up on your AT&T bill? If it is not a charge to your AT&T account, I would recommend contacting your bank, or card company, so an investigation can be opened for these charges. Since you did not make them, you should be able to be reimbursed.
If you see the charge on your AT&T bill, a closer look at your account is necessary. Please send a private message @ATTMobilityCare so we can explore this in further detail. Within the message, if you could please include your full name, account number, contact number and the best time to reach you. I would greatly appreciate it!
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for contacting AT&T, and have a wonderful rest of your day!

@rach0176 I'm not sure what you want or expect ATT to do. That charge is not from ATT. Even if it was ATT that caused your card to be compromised, there is nothing they can do about it now. You need to deal directly with your bank.

Hi,
I'm reading this thread that started almost a year ago. Yesterday, two charges hit my checking account for $235.62 and $40.62 from the SAME store - AT&T K006 9986 ESTOR. I too called AT&T, spoke to someone in billing to confirm that these aren't charges from their service center (I'm only a Uverse customer). I was told that since these charges came from a store/retail location that no one at the call center could help me. I think this is ridiculous. I had to literally beg for them to do the research and at least tell me what store and give me a phone number for this location. The number they gave (610 696 6500) is to an AT&T authorized dealer. When I called that number it was listed as out of service. My bank is contesting the charges as they are fraudulent (I live in IL and these charges happened at a store in PA...I've never even been to the state) and I'm filing a police report. But the fact that this same location and charge has happened to countless people with in the last year and there seems to be no real solution or help that AT&T can provide, to me is pathetic. Once this is rectified. I'm probably going to end my relationship with the company. I can find internet service anywhere.
I would like for someone to please reach out to me and help me get to the bottom of these charges and ensure that my account is credited the $276.24 that I am owed. If you my information has been compromised then you should let your customers know this ASAP.
Thank You,
Nneka (Dudley) Ude

@Anonymous You must not have read the whole thread because those charges are not from ATT. Dispute the charges with your credit card, ATT can't help you with charges that did not come from them. Also, this is a public forum, please remove your personal information.

The same thing happened to me! Contacted the AT&T Global Fraud Department. I was told that they didn't handle issues of this nature, and stated that I needed to contact the AT&T Finance Department. The AT&T Finance Department stated that these criminals likely used my stolen credit card info to pay their own AT&T bill, and they cannot access someone else's account based on heresay. After it posts to my bank as a 'hard charge' and is no longer pending, I'll need to fill-out a Dispute Form and file it with my bank to get my money back. AT&T stated that once this process is over, they'll block that card as a payment option for the person who stole my info.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, these are fraud charges, but have nothing to do with ATT.
https://www.scambook.com/company/reports/166653/ATT-k004-9966-Estor-Bethlehem-Pa
Im sure the fraudsters are hoping they will hide as valid payments and be overlooked.
Report to your credit card company, NOT AT&T, they don't have your money.

lizdance40 - How are you so expert on this subject? "AT&T" was posted on my bank account info. My bank statement doesn't lie. Further, I've already spoken to my bank and filed a complaint to dispute the charges.
