charged AT&T K006 9986 ESTOR

On the 8/2/2016 I just got the same charged AT&T K006 9968 Estor for $617.29, my bank will refund the money however the moral to the story was that every times my husband and I  called AT&T to get details to the of what was charged on our account. It seem like no one/any employee at AT&T couldn't help nor provided us any useful information and kept directing us to different departments due to  lack of knowledge of the company as a whole.  Obviously, the transaction was being made by AT&T, if AT&T does not know what is being charged and how to track each of your own (AT&T) Transactions. How did your consumes trusted your business? Lucky we are not your customer and we know this charged was fraudulent. How are you (AT&T-company) going to deal with the fraud? Are you protection your consumers identity? The reason why I asked all these question my card that was being changed the billing address that they provided you does not matched with the current billing address because we had moved several months ago.  We also got charged at Walmart.com on the same day but for some reasons Walmart does a lot better job than AT&T. Walmart was able the resolved the issued and stop the order process .  Please don’t send me the genetic letter and wasted your time on the letter, just put your time how you can track your transactions better and we know that so many are also effect by this fraudulent charged.

These charges are not from ATT.  It's a fraud charge from a scam out of Pennsylvania.

Dispute the charge with your card company or bank.  ATT has no way of finding a charge that doesn't exist.

You are absolutely correct with the above post. AT&T is not responsible for these fraudulent charges. My bank called to notify me immediately of fraudulent charges on my account because this is a known scam. It does not even show up the same way as an AT&T bank draft shows. Best bet is to contact your banks fraud department to get reimbursed because it's not a real ATT draft. Check your other deductions for the same day, because the scam artists also had fake draft named as Netflix, New York ny and match.com (which I have never used). The individuals responsible could have gotten you're card information anywhere... tech savvy scam artists can read a card from anything you use, even card readers at gas stations.

Credit card charged 78.00 by ATT 9968 Estore. THIS IS NOT THE ATT phone company. This is a scam & fraud so report to your credit card company asap. I got an alert an was able to stop it immediately. Crooks figure you would suspect ATT and call them first vs credit card company which gives them more time to steal fr you.

I was just charged this morning from the same "location" for the amount of $68.85. I am on the phone with AT&T making a report. I am NOT, nor have I ever, been an AT&T customer. I see most people are commenting that this is a scam/fraid but I am curious if anyone commenting above was told by authorities that this is infact not AT&T. There is an AT&T location in this city and with the revalations of Wells Fargo making fradulant accounts, I am curious if this is a similar situation within this actual location. The store in this city is an authorized dealer and not an actual AT&T store. I have already cancelled my card and went through these steps with my account but would like to know who to contact to atleast make sure that the authorities are made aware of another complaint. Thanks so much and hopefully the authorities can get to the bottom of who is behind this.

@lizdance40 I read all of the posts. My question was, has anyone actually spoken to authorities about this? I see that people are saying this is a scam but want to know who they contacted to report this.

@ChristinaP83. Protect yourself.  Your bank wil have to report the fraud.  You may have to get a new card.  

ATT doesn't know anything since the money is not going to them.
