Yes.

If your bill is not paid in full every month your service will be suspended. Your best way to cut your losses is to take your cousin's phone back and sell it so that you can pay off her portion and then turn off her line. If she has access to your account change all your passwords so that she cannot Port her number out

Keep in mind in order to sell her phone you will need to know her screen pin or pattern so that you can factory reset the phone and remove her email account from a device

Hi @Samantha1989,

Welcome to the community. We'd like to help with more information about your billing inquiry.

As stated earlier by @lizdance40, the entire account will be suspended if the full payment is not made after the due date.

If there is no smartphone installment contract on their line, you can inform your cousin to transfer their number to another account, so you are no longer responsible for their bills but yours only.

If there is a smartphone installment, then you will need to find a way to recover the phone from them because you are still responsible for the full payment of the device if they refuse to pay.

We hope this was helpful.

It depends on the terms of your contract. If it is a joint account, you and your cousin are both responsible to pay the bill. If your cousin does not want to pay, you will still be on the hook.  You can remove her number from your account provided that the phone is paid for and there are no equipment charges to pay each month.

@EdKass

AT&T does not do joint anything. Not wireless, not home internet, not Digital Life, not TV service, ZIP, zero, zilch. Everything is in one person's name, one SS#, and that person is 100% responsible and owns everything.

   Samantha1989 owns both phones, owns both phone numbers, and is entirely financially responsible for the entire account.   I do not know of any cell phone carrier that allows dual ownership and dual responsibility of a cell phone account.
