I called this morning to have my bill extended by 6 days ONLY....They couldn't extend my bill for that because i just opened my account in August....It shouldn't matter when you opened it...it you have paid your bill on time all the time they should extend it for you....I am so beyond angry right now apparently they don't think people have money issues being almost Christmas...

The way how the extension might possibly work for you is to have it past due, and with past due, you are still able to use the service, but on your next bill, you will be charge for a late fee of $5 plus + with that $5. Yes, is lame, and kind of stupid that they can't do it, but that's how it is.

Have you tried doing the request online. It's seamless and, if it's availaible, it should take no more than 2 minutes to set it up. Follow these steps and let me know how it works out for you.
