Billed after cancellation

I cancelled my service on 2/8 

My cycle resets on the 8th.

Why did I have to pay for a month of service that I am not getting?

You cancelled a day to late. Your final month of service is not prorated. Once your new bill cycle starts, you pay for the full month whether you use it or not. You needed to cancel before the 8th.

I'm still with ATT I just cancelled my account as my wife and I both had 2
lines.
I cancelled my lines because we only need 2....
I am aware. ..
