Autopay and prepayments

I have a larger family plan. If I enroll my account in autopay and my relatives make payments to the account before our due date will autopay pull what the balance on the bill was or will it pull the balance due on the account at that time.

For example, lets say my due date is 13th of the month and the balance is $500. On the 10th my sister decides to pay her $100 portion. Firstly, is she able to do that if Im enrolled in autopay? Secondly, then on the 13th will autopay pull the $500 or $400 Balance from my account?

I’m pretty sure the autopay amount is set when the bill is generated, so any payments after that will not reduce the autopay payment. In your example, autopay will still deduct $500 and you will have a $100 positive balance. That $100 will get applied to the next bill. I’m not totally sure I’m right on this, though.
