ATT won’t give me trade in credit. No help. Terrible business!
We have bad 5 lines with ATT for 15 years! This same scenario happened in 2019 as well. In 11/2022 I traded in my iPhone XS Max for iPhone 14 and was to receive $800 credit. I followed all instructions and shipped using the provided box and label. I have pictures of everything and tracking. Phone was received but ATT has not and seemingly will not give me the credit. I was on the phone for an hour today with an ‘agent’ I could not understand and who did nothing to help. Basically kept me hanging on hold stating they were reaching out to some other department. Complete rip-off. Many others complaining about this issue. What can I do?

Trade in phones go to highland Mobile in Tennessee. Your label is a return label to AT&T in Texas via Pitney Bowes. It looks to me like you keep returning old phones to AT&T rather than sending them to the trade in third party business for credit. So AT&T gets back an old phone and it's return department and has absolutely no idea what to do with it.
There's a tracking number on that label, did you track your phone with that tracking number?
If you have shipped your phone back to AT&t's returns department, they were expecting and brand new iPhone 14 returned because you did not want it. That's not what they got. You'll have to call AT&T and have them reroot the phone to hyla Mobile in Tennessee.

Fyi ... According to the tracking information, postal service turned this over to Pitney Bowes.
Pitney Bowes has no record of picking up the package.
Newgistics records the package as being picked up in Kentucky on September 20th.
No further tracking

The only way I got resolution for a similar experience was to file an online complaint at the FCC website. After I did that I got a response from ATT within 48 Hrs. That fixed my issue.
