ATT will not honor rate they quoted me 6 days ago

Existing customer for > 5 years. Called your customer service 1 week ago and got rate reduced from 186 to 147 (got all confirmations). ATT just sent me a bill for $190 (e.g., higher than before!) and refused to honor the $147 rate I was promised. Yes, I spoke with 7 people in customer service and sent 2 complaint letters already (including to your corporate offices in Dallas) yet i just want the promised rate. how do i get ATT to honor what they promised?????

1. If the new price isn't a legitimate AT&T offering, they won't honor it. You might as well save your energy.

2. If the bill was available just a few days after you called, it's possible no changes were made to that bill at all. Did you look at see if the new plan(s) were on the bill?

Have to agree with @MicCheck.

And who made the offer?

A $39 cut in price off a $186 bill is huge,  had to come with a cut in service.  They will often give data bonuses.  But prices are Not negotiable.
