AT&T shut down my MiFi and tried to gouge me for costly plan change
A few years ago my family was a test area for the AT&T MiFi and we got a 500 GB for $100 a month plan. We were told we could have this plan forever as long as we kept the MiFi. Our Internet stopped working about a month ago. After numerous calls to fix I finally was told our plan wasn’t active and we’d have to switch to a more costly plan that only gave us 150 GB. I explained we were told we could have than planned forever as we were a test area. After 2 hours on chat they agreed to allow us to keep our original plan. We thought we were good. Now our bill says we only have a 30 GB plan and we are getting constant emails telling us we are over our limit and will be charged.
Thanks AT&T for gouging my family during a pandemic. I have 2 kids who have to take online courses for school and you have now made that impossible. I cannot wait to blast you on every social media platform I can find to let everyone know what type of lying company you are.
