ATT PREPAID RECURRING CHARGE

I noticed on my billing statement through my bank that I was charged in February and March for VESTA aT&T prepaid ($59.10 each). However, I do not have a prepaid phone. When calling about the issue, trying to find the right number to call was confusing and frustrating. When I did find a number, I could not get help because the rude operator did not understand my question, would not listen to my clarification of the issue, and would only repeat herself and give me the number for prepaid services. I cannot call prepaid services without entering a prepaid phone number, which I obviously do not have. I never signed up for ANY charges, let alone recurring charges, to occur through aT&T for a phone service I do not have. That is almost $120 I do not have to spend, let alone to pay for some unused service. Is there anyway to cancel this recurring charge if I do not have an account?? Also, I need to know if this is an issue aT&T can resolve or if I need to file fraud charges with my bank. I really do not want to have to cancel my bank account for an error on aT&T's end. Perhaps, worst case, someone can give me a phone number that actually works for billing problems so I can resolve this issue. Thanks.

You don't have a billing problem since you don't have an account. AT&T can't help you because you don't have access to the account that is charging your bank. 

 

You should file a dispute with the bank. This sounds like fraud.
