Att overcharged me, twice, and now I have a collection due, and it's affecting my credit
I tried to cancel my account in september of 2019. the company failed to remove my watch from the account and for some reason charged me an extra month. I have been to the ATT store 2x and was told I need to call. When I call, I don't have an account anymore, so I cant get past the auto router. I feel that ATT owes me $250+ and I have not been able to talk to anyone, nor get any help from them. Now I have a collection and a ding on my credit!!!!
I was a customer for over 15 years and I had to switch service because they could not provide adequate service to my area. How do I talk to someone to resolve this issue?

In order to cancel service on a watch, tablet, or dedicated hotspot device, you must call.
There are two ways of canceling service one is to port numbers out to a new carrier. If you port all of your numbers out then all of your service has been canceled and you will not be billed anymore.
But most carriers do not port lines for anything other than phones.

Why do you think AT&T owes you money? It sounds like you never paid.
