Att next up feature wrongful charge
I never like to have the $5 next up feature on my account.
In December I got new phones for my family and I made sure to say we don't want to have the next up feature added.
I went in weeks later to add screen protectors and made sure to say I don't want the $5 next up feature.
This was added on all my lines, and I just noticed it's been on my bill.
I can't even remove it on the app. It shows on my bill, but when I go to add ons on each device it's not on there.
I need this removed and a credit for the time it's been on there.
What a sneaky robbery. I feel majorly slighted.

Next up can only be added at the time a new phone is purchased. It cannot be added even one day after the fact. You can remove it yourself in your online account.
If it’s been longer than 14 days since you bought your phone, you can remove the AT&T Next Up upgrade feature from your installment plan by going to your myATT account overview (login required) and selecting See my bill. Select Manage installment plan under Billing & payment options (you may have to scroll). Select Learn about or cancel Next Up and follow the prompts to cancel the AT&T Next Up℠ upgrade option

To get any credit for past charges or if you can’t remove it online, you need to call. No one here can do either.

We'd be happy to take a closer look into your Next Up concern in private @LegendHK. Please check your Direct Message Inbox (it’s the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).
In the meantime, we want to confirm that you tried to remove Next Up from your account using the instructions provided above by @formerlyknownas.
If the above does not help, not to worry; we will take care of this on our end. Again, please keep an eye out for the DM.

How about I requested next up the day I switched to AT&T from T-Mobile and didn't notice that it hadn't been added until my friend split off and went to her own account. Even though this is AT&T's mistake, they will not rectify it, and now the only way for me to upgrade my phone (like I do every year) is to pay it off and buy a new one, or switch companies entirely. THEY WILL NOT MAKE THIS RIGHT EVEN THOUGH IT IS THEIR MISTAKE. AT&T IS TRASH.
