ATT network initiated transaction using data
At the bottom of my ATT bill there is a statement that "The ATT network constantly communicates with internet enable devices when they are powered on. These communications will show as data usage on the customer records but do not necessarily indicate a customer initiated transaction."
My questions are:
1. Does the number of Bytes up or down indicate whether the transaction was initiated by the user? for example, if the transaction lasted 13 minutes and included over 600,000 bytes up and 10,000,000 bytes down, would that indicate a user initiated transaction instead of a network transaction?
2. Does the "ET" or elapsed time of the transaction indicate whether the user initiated?
3. Does the "Connection time (UTC)" indicate (in UTC time) the exact time the transaction started?

Ask your bank or check your banking app. ATT has no idea how many bank transactions were made from your phone.
