ATT device promotion is not applied as per the Advertisement

I purchased an iPhone 14 Plus with a Christmas promotion at a store, which advertised a device cost of $5 per month. However, upon activation, I discovered that they charged me $25 instead of the promised $5. When I raised the issue at the store, they instructed me to contact customer service. Customer service then informed me that other discounts had been applied, such as a $10 reduction for wireless with a fiber offer, but they did not provide the device credit as part of the promotion. The store confirmed the same explanation.

I am deeply disappointed that the store did not provide the promotional information during the account creation process, and I'm equally frustrated with the lack of attention to detail from ATT customer service, as they have not rectified the situation by reinstating the promotion. Now, I find myself locked into a 36-month service contract, paying a fee that I did not agree to

What plan do you have?  Not all plans are compatible with offers.

You didn't mention any of the other requirements to get the phone deal.

Are you on a qualified unlimited data plan?   The deal required that you have an unlimited data plan with a base price for one line of $75 or more before any discounts.  

Did you purchase with installments?

@ATTHelp  ATT customer service and ATT executive team, thanks for  listening to my voice and providing the quick resolution.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for promptly addressing my request and providing a swift resolution. I am truly impressed by the attentive service I received from the ATT service team. They diligently followed up on my issue and escalated it to management.

To my delight, I received a call from the ATT executive team, assuring me that they would request the management team to reinstate the offer and provide the promised discount. On the same day, I received a text message notifying me that the promotion had been applied, and my paid charges were promptly credited back to me.

I am immensely appreciative of all the assistance I received throughout this process. I felt confident enough to share my experience on a forum, knowing that you consistently deliver exceptional service.
