$700 trade in promo 2020
I switched to Att on Black Friday and was told as a new customer I got 700 trade in credit towards my installments on my iPhone 12 pro. I was told I have 30 days. I have tried and tried and it keeps telling me only a 100 trade in credit. Anyone know how to fix this?

So disappointed in AT&T. Just called AT&T regarding this same issue and was told we did not get the $700 credit per new IPhone 12 Pro Max but instead got trade in value only for our IPhone 8+ which was approximately 280 for both phones. Big difference between the $1400 promised and the approximately $280 credit we received.
To answer your questions 1. Yes, we traded in our devices within the designated time frame. I believe it was 30 days. 2. When our new phones arrived we took our previous IPhone 8+ to a local AT&T store to get the advertised $700 credit. 3. As our trade ins were both IPhone 8+ they were both qualified devices for the promotion. 4. Yes, we are on a qualified monthly unlimited data plan. And finally we signed up through our AT&T store.
So thoroughly disgusted with AT&T lies and deceptions. As a former long time employee and customer of AT&T I’ll just say buyer beware. Please do your due diligence when dealing with AT&T and Always get anything promised in writing.
