You may not believe this one ?

upgraded my iphone X to a Galaxy S22, after 5 days I decided to return S22, and just keep iphone X,  Rep on phone said box it up send it back, I was never offered to exchange the S22 for something else, (I keep all conversations transcribed/downloaded) then re-activated my iphone X, a few days later I get a text from at&t "we have received your TRADE IN " ??? I sent the new S22 back, not my iphone, This insane mix-up by at&t go's on for over a month, The 3rd rep, says he will fix this, (that's what the 2nd rep said), this stared 10/05/2022, as of today 11/27/2022 nothing has changed, except at&t thinks I have the S22, and the pay off is over $800, can't upgrade again until the balance is paid 3 years from now, for a phone I do not have, Is this crazy or ? any idea's ???

Well it's not so crazy if you use the trade-in package to send your s22 in.

A return would go back to AT&T in texas. The trade-in package went to Tennessee to a third party recycler called hyla mobile. The trade-in package would have only had room for your phone, not the box and the packaging that came with your s22. Returns after the package with all of the original packing material in the original box.

So where did you send the S22?

The rep said "put phone in same box, put label on it, ship it, (I save and download all text), I was not offered an exchange by the rep,  2nd and 3 rep's could not figure it out, Just spent over an hour with a customer service rep, asked what phone was active on my account, Iphone XR, he came back online in about 15 min. said yes they did receive the S22, and that by December 5th 2022 my account will be modified, If that happens I will be grateful.

So you have no idea whether you sent your phone to Tennessee or Texas? You kept no record whatsoever? Not a receipt from the post office? Not a screenshot of the barcode and label with the tracking number?
