Why doesn't att give customers better alternatives the assurion

They are so expensive 199 deductible with assurion n top of there high monthly premiums

Look at square trade for example galaxy s5 for insurance,

99 dollars for 2 years with 75 dollar deductible
Or 5 dollars a month with 75 dollar deductible

Had many warranties with them, fast and easy claims. The have good reviews and are a top rated company and so much more reasonable.

I haven't actually dealt with SquareTrade insurance for claims or anything, but there is nothing that says you have to buy insurance from AT&T. You can buy your insurance from anyone who will sell you a policy, and for that matter, you can choose to "self insure" (which basically means you have no insurance and you are liable for the costs if anything happens to your device).

If you can purchase a SquareTrade policy on your own, then that is something you could consider. With the money you save on the insurance, you could possibly pay for your next phone (or at least the insurance on the next phone)...
