When does Trade-in recieves?

I have switched to ATT from T-Mobile.

I thought 5G coverage would be better. I have not noticed any difference yet.

Also, I traded my iPhone X for the worth of $350 as it is $700 if I fix the cracks on the screen. I saw this deal on my side of the account but when I visit different locations employees confirm that they can monitor the deal I asked them for. I have been there a month ago and I am told to wait for that may take a couple of months. Today I received my 3rd bill from ATT. My installment plan remains the residue from the fill price ($800).

Am I scammed by ATT or should I wait for more? I gave away my old phone 2 months ago.

1. Did you trade in the old phone with in 30 days?

2. Do you have a qualifying unlimited plan?

3. Does the tracking show it was accepted at the post office?

Based on your "2 months ago" I doubt it's been 3 billing cycles since you sent the phone in, so I'd say wait one more bill cycle before worrying, assuming you met all of the other qualifications.

Which phone is eligible for trade-in and for how much is determined by the date you buy your new phone.

 If you waited  to buy your new phone, the trade in Deal has changed

The trade-in deal, amounts, phones sold and phones acceptable changes every week.

@MicCheck

1. Yes, I did.

2. Yes, I do.

3. I don't have tracking. I delivered the old phone from hand to the store.

@formerlyknownas

It supposes to be accepted. That was offered to me by the store when I visited to switch my plan to ATT from Tmobile. I purchased the phone that day. And delivered my old phone in 2 weeks.

Additionally, I don't have any tracking interface on the ATT account. I don't know how to see when did I drop off the phone. I should have signed the paperwork. But I don't know how to use that.

I recommend you all, leave an FCC complaint.

https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us

They will provide the customer service you deserve after that.

Walking-in a store or calling not gonna help you at all!!!

When you trade it in your phone at the physical store did you get a receipt that indicates you traded in an iPhone XR with so many gigabytes of data and whatever color your phone was...

Yes?

Do you still have the receipt?

When is the date that you made your purchase?

When is the date that you turned in your phone?

Month and day...

After I left an FCC complaint I received a phone call from the Office of the President Customer Escalations and Process Improvement

He helped me to solve the issue and I got credited what was supposed to be. He said the issue was the memory of the phone (256GB) which is identified on the receipt. He said it is available only for 512GB iPhone X. Here is the question if my phone is not qualified for the trade-in why do you take my phone after you inspected it???

I did the same type deal in February 2022.... my trade in was received by them in March (and verified with them).   I've spoken to them in May, July, August, October, and now November... and my credits havent started, nor are they pending.   Each representative i speak with "assures" me they are going to be on the next bill.    I have screenshots from the chat transcripts, recordings of the calls, and texts from ATT all telling me that the promotion would be starting.... yet still nothing.

It has not even been 60 days since you're trading was completed. As it says in the promotion, it will be approximately three Bill Cycles, 3 months.

The amount of storage is only an issue if the amount of storage on your receipt does not match the amount of storage on your phone. The mismatch would be a problem for Hyla.  It does not disqualify the phone or decrease its value.

Having defects, damage would have decreased the value.

Any of these issues have ever been mentioned to me at the point of sales. They were expecting me to read every small bullet on the receipt and then sign it, I guess. Is it for real?

I had cracks on both sides. ATT employee told me that's accepted as $350 as it is. If I get it fixed it will be $700. I specifically asked If I need to get it fixed by authorized apple stores. He said not necessary. I believe memory should be checked in the inspection by them. Why would the memory in the phone and shown memory on the phone settings be different?
