Vehicle data plan and 2FA

I have a vehicle data plan only and vehicle doesn't receive 2FA text message for login.

What's the alternative if vehicle plan is the only number on the account?

Hello jdburgie, let's help get your 2FA text message so that you can get logged into your vehicle data plan.


The setup method for In-car Wi-Fi varies by auto manufacturer


In-car Wi-Fi: Devices connected to your car hotspot, through Wi-Fi, use your plan data. The number of devices that can connect to your hotspot at one time vary by car model.


Once a device connects to your car’s hotspot, that device can automatically reconnect and use car data unless the hotspot is removed from returning device settings or the hotspot password is changed.


Eligible vehicle and wireless service are required. Coverage and service aren't available everywhere. Fees, charges, and restrictions apply.
