Upgrade Trade-In
Recently purchased the new iPhone, through the trade-in deal of $1000 off. AT&T never sent my trade-in kit, I had to calla and request one and they still say it has to be received within 30 days. I mailed it immediately the next day after they sent a return label via email. Now the return has first went to a Pitney Bowes center and now to At&T. I want to receive my full discount but worry because of AT&T's lack of accountability in sending me a return kit I won't. Can anyone help or has had experience int his situation.

Help with what? There isn’t anything to help with yet. It normally takes up to 3 bill cycles after the trade in is received for bill credits to show. There is nothing for you to do unless and until you get to that fourth bill and credits haven’t shown up. Just make sure you document everything including having to request the trade in label and when the trade in was sent. If credits don’t show up, file an FCC or BBB complaint to escalate to corporate.

We here to help address your trade-in concerns, @dclark09.
As @sandblaster mentioned, credits start within 3 bills after trade-in is completed and will be applied in equal amounts over a 36-month installment agreement.
Continue to keep track of your trade-in to see when credits will be applied. If there happens to be an issue with your trade-in, feel free to reach back out to us here on the AT&T Community and we'll be happy to assist.
To view credits and adjustments:
Promotion information can be found in the charges section of your bill.
Thanks for visiting our AT&T Community. We hope this helps!

I’m not asking for help about the actual credits. My concern as stated in the question was making sure they honor my trade in credit because they DID NOT send the trade in envelope and stated the trade in device has to be received with 30 days of receiving my new phone. I’m more concerned about them honoring the credits with their LACK in the process

Regardless of what you are worried about, you won’t know if there is a problem until the credits don’t show up. No one here can tell you if there is any issue with the trade in.

Did you send the phone within 30 days? That is what the requirement is, not that AT&T receives in within 30 days. You didn't mention how many days it took either part of the process.
