Upgrade then separate to own account
Will upgrading my phone just before I separate from my husband's account cause any issues?
Will I be able to transfer my number to upgrade and my own account?
Will I get the same exact services and price when I separate to my own account?

We're here to answer your questions Lbwojcik.
You upgrading your device won't cause any issues on your husbands account. Once you pass the credit check and establish your own account, you can ask your husband to perform a transfer billing responsibility. This will give you billing responsibility for your wireless service. Your bill payments and any installment plans or add-ons associated with your number will transfer over to your account.
Make sure the account don't have a past due balance.

It depends on your credit, or rather at&t's opinion of your credit. You must pass a credit check to open your own account.
As long as your account owner agrees.
Same exact services? As what?
As for plan and price, No.
You must chose from currently published plans at att.com.
1 line is like going to cost more per line than 2 lines. See the estimator tool at att.com
