Unresolved issue with porting a number
Hello,
I have an unresolved issue with porting a number from Straight Talk (AT&T reseller) to a new AT&T line. I have spent many hours between on the phone with customer service and in a AT&T corporate store without success. ST has confirmed that they released the number but the best I can get out of anyone is that the number is "stuck" or "in limbo". This number is 25+ years old and I really can't risk losing it.
The number is being ported to a new line of service. If I can't get it resolved today, I am just to cancel the new line and ship back the iPhone 15.
Please, if anyone can take customer service seriously and help me get this resolved, I'll be eternally grateful.

1. Is your number still active on straight talk? If it's not it must be.
2. Straight talk should provide you with your account number and security PIN code which is required by the FCC in order to port your number.
3. Call PAC (Port Activation Center) at 888.898.7685.

I've done all of this. I am well past all of those steps. The number is stuck in AT&T's system somehow. This problem needs someone to take a serious look at what is going on with the port.
I've reached out to the AT&T Twitter team which has responded. I have also filed an FCC complaint.

Number ports from MVNOs can take time. But you should still have active service with straight talk right up until the number is ported to AT&T.
Do you still have active straight talk service?
Have you called the port activation center?

I got that message; I called porting center last night. They said the number is "stuck" and they can't associate it with my account. Hence why I am trying to get AT&T's attention to fix it.

Just my opinion, but you need to resolve things with AT&T.
If AT&T has the number but it's in "limbo" you can't get it back to straight talk, and it would be lost.
