Unlock

I would really like to officially unlock my iPhone X. My name is Julia, i bought this phone on eBay , but I'm not the resident of USA, so I can't use it with local operators. My IMEI is (Edited to remove personal information) , i tried contacting AT&T via live chat, but had no luck. I will really appreciate your help on my problem.

Did you try unlocking through the unlock portat - www.att.com/deviceunlock ?

@kdfederer Thank you, this was the answer. I can’t figure out what to do next.

Current status - Denied

Because of certain AT&T guidelines, we aren't able to unlock this device.

AT&T guidelines won't allow us to unlock this device.

@Daniial Usually the denials are more specific than that, but the most common reason unlocks are denied is that the original owner never paid off the device. Unless you can contact the original owner and get them to complete the payments, the device will never be unlocked.

If it was sold as unlocked or unlockable, file a complaint with eBay to get a refund.
