unified disaster
So my trade in of an iphone 11 never made it to the "warehouse".. it was sold a day later from the sales (Edited per community guidelines)ociate to someone he knew and all my info still stored (dumb me)
After the 3 months and no $700 rebate and lowered monthly.. I notice double monthly payments and my phone not allowing me to do certain things due to being a "non authorized user"
I instantly put it together, went to the store, the receipt is gone.. not even in the system and att trade in dept has nothing. I went from a 8 to a 12 pro max in their eyes. I luckily found tge receipt, pulled the imei and realized it was still active. I then noticed the insurance (Edited per community guidelines) they sneak on your bill tripled.
As i suspected, the cash paying iphone 11 piece of (Edited per community guidelines) and another number bought my trade in, changed my single unlimted starter to a Unified business of 4 account and they made me a secondary but the bill collector. so far... on record, my trade in was turned in on a claim and the insurance gave her a iphone 10, the other person has a samsung 20 in my name and my whole everything is controlled and monitored by these people. NO ONE can help.. rsther have a 12 pro max, they have me under a herman spark? and ive been paying these (Edited per community guidelines)holes bilks for three months.
first.... WHO AUTHORIZED this??? where was my id confirmed when 2 claims were done??? who authorized this unified (Edited per community guidelines)???? i dont have direct tv or anything!!! and why the (Edited per community guidelines) isnt this taken care of or seen from the start?? where was my call asking to allow this??? my imei matches the trade in, the samsung is in my name but no red flag from Att!! i need 3 months of bills reembursed, my iphone 11 back, that samsung ill take, and these (Edited per community guidelines) holes taken care of. my email is comprimised... apple id, apple pay, my plan is now fully in the hands of these people and no oneeeee can do (Edited per community guidelines) cause of a unified account i have no connection to. oh... and everyone i kniw says calls dont even connect when calling. i smell (Edited per community guidelines). that privacy policy was def broken. someone tell me how to go about this... these 3 hour phone calls just to transfer is expired on my end....... fml

From my experience your $700 credit would have only been $10.
On the other issue, it sounds like you need to get in touch with the AT&T fraud department.
I had either the store sales rep or a sneaky customer lift my info while in an official store and charge thousands to my account. Mind you, I'm on auto pay!
Never give you passcodes to store employees, especially out loud. You can take the tablet and punch it in. This was advice given from ATT Fraud department. However, they like to disagree with that policy in the stores.

I just re-read your post again. Definitely legal action on your part. AT&T owes you identity theft protection/monitoring.
Don't mess with store managers and customer service. Get Fraud Prevention and file a police case.

Oh, other piece of advice, if you get called by AT&T's Fraud department, it's most likely not. They may be phishing for more info.
