Text messages coming through Claiming a drawing.

I literally just got this text message like 5 mins ago. Claiming I can enter to win $100 gift card and all that. Like so I went looking into more and really seen how this is a fat scam. 

Beware people just really be careful what you could maybe be opening ... Good luck to all that has had this message sent to them.

I'm not sure I get your post:

1) Are you an AT&T subscriber or a Cricket subscriber?  The link seems to imply

2) Qualtrics is a legitimate company that does satisfaction surveys just like this purports to be.

3) Those are some legitimate looking rules.

4) If you were concerned about the links, why did you click them?

5) Why did you decide this was a scam?

I am with Cricket. and I didn't put any of my info it was asking for I just clicked on the rule box. but after reading past posts about this same thing I wanted to see what others thought of this .. It appears that this kind of texting has been going on for several years. So I basically want to bring awareness to others so they know also what to watch for if this actually is a scam. 

That is all I just was looking to see if it is or it isn't a scam.

The message you have received is inauthentic, and AT&T is not running a sweepstakes program. When you receive a fishy text from a number you do not recognize stating to complete a survey, claiming your device may be locked soon, stating that you've recieved a free gift card, or asking you to check your bill with a link shortener, we highly recommend that you not open it.

Please report the message to us by forwarding the message to 7726 (SPAM), then submit the number once you are prompted.
