Switching from Verizon to AT&T
Hi there,
I live in Austin, TX and recently upgraded my phone to a Samsung 20 5G ultra. Unfortunately I wasn't told about the absence of 5G towers in Austin. I have heard that AT&T has 5G towers. Is there a plan or offer that allows AT&T to buyout my phone from Verizon and transfer payments over to AT&T if I switch over?

No ATT does not have a buyout deal right now. 2nd ATT's 5G is no faster than LTE at this point.

Thanks. Thats what I've been told. However my Friend updated his plan to 5G to get better image quality on his phone (we were watching the UT game by the pool). He upgraded his plan reset his device and 5G started working. The picture quality was very clean and crisp and had no issues loading compared to when he was on LTE.
