Switching from T-Mobile to At&t

Hi, I live in Seattle, USA. I have five lines from T.mobile and i m the account holder. we decided to switch to At&t. We have unlimited data plan package and it's called T-Mobile ONE. We do not owe anything from T-Mobile we use our own personal phones. I want to add one more line and finance two iPhone XS Max. (1) What is the procedure of switching to At&t and financing iPhone? (2) Do you have better deal for multiple lines? Does At&t have signal coverage all over Washington state? What makes At&t better than other carriers? Thanks

(1) What is the procedure of switching to At&t and financing iPhone?

Go to an ATT store. If you plan to use any of your existing phones, you will need to get them unlocked first.

(2) Do you have better deal for multiple lines?

All of ATT’s plans and prices are on att.com. ATT will probably cost more but that depends on what plan you pick

Does At&t have signal coverage all over Washington state?

Check coverage maps here: https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html I can’t vouch for the whole state but I have gotten good coverage in and around the Seattle/Tacoma area on several trips there.

What makes At&t better than other carriers?

That is a matter of opinion but generally what makes any carrier better is coverage. ATT and Verizon still have better nationwide coverage than T-Mobile or Sprint, but T-Mobile is getting better.

I suggest you to stay with t-mobile unless you are having some kind of coverage issue.


If you BYOD, then there is no payment plan for purchasing a phone "locking" you in. If you purchase an AT&T-branded phone, then the additional feature work. 

 

If you want to BYOD and find the service isn't worth giving up those additional features, you can switch anytime!
