Stealing, They recognize it, don't fix it and they steal some more!!!

I walk to ATT store for Christmas just browsing. Get offered a great deal. I asked 10 times for it in writing, but I was assured everybody knew of the deal and I was speaking with the manager and one of the sales men, and both sold me and assured me of the validity to the poitn that they  allowed me to record the conversation and agreed to sign my notes of what he was offereing. 

 

So I buy 2 phones, get one free, turn in our 3 used phones, join our uverse with phone bill, port  2 lines and an ipad, and I am assured that this will give me one free iphone, and $1400 in credits. 

600  for 3 phones, 200 per phone turned in according to machine that verified them, 

200 to port 2 phone lines

100 to por the ipad line

400  - for unifying with uverse bill 2 phones

100  for unifying the ipad

I also have it recorded on my ipad, 

because he did not have anything in writing to give me, other than to promise it was AT&T I was dealing with.  

 

All good until att gives us 1200 credit and then takes back 600!!  takes back 600 with nor expalnation whatsoever.  We find one day that we owe 400+ to At&t when we get a surprise bill.   We owe them money because they took back $600 of the promised credit.  Every person on the phone says the dumbest things- like maybe the store manager made a mistake,  or take it up with store manager, or tough at no point did we have so many promotios.  Or did you get in writing?  I DID!!!! But nobody cares.  So they finally open 2 cases and nobody ever calls me or fixes anything!!!   

So I call again and and I am offered a discount on my service since they can't help with the other, but might be able to pacify me with a discount.    I don't want it!! But they give it to me anyway, and it was not a discount,  my bill went up and they UPGRADED ME TO A HIGHER PRICE!!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!  SO I call when I find out, and they offer me another pacifying deal, they can't explain what the other agent did, but they offer me a good deal for a year since I am such a long time client with such good standing.   and I record the coversation on my idad,  and the agent notes it in the notes.  AND THE PRICE still up, not down, my bill all the same,   So I call, SHE DID NOT DO IT>  I have an upgrade in uverse I did not want, they can't seem to take that back, so I am being charged more, and the discount that she wrote in my record, and I recorde on my ipad, is now not something I can have according to new agent.  OH MY GOD!    And the girl tells me tough tough tough there is nothing ANYBODY can do about it.  She apologizes for the past because she can see the errors BUT we need to move forward, and not look back.  forgive and forget.  This is stealing!   They even admit it, but they can't fix it.   Nobody had the power to honor their deals.  They blame the other agents.  THEY ARE ALL ATT.  When I deal with ATT agent, I deal with ATT.       ENFURIATING!   HELP!!!!!!  I have it writing, you have it writing.  What else do you need?

now I don't even have my old phones to get out of the deal  without this costing me an arm and a leg.   

 

I'd be happy to get out all together of all service.  Give my 3 phones  and I am out since you won't honor your part.  There was no other way I would have agreed to buy the phones and sign up except for the super deal.  But it was a lie?   You lie?  You can ruin my credit if I don't pay, but what can I do to you if you steal from me?   I call but your agents have no power to even honor the deals they make with me.  Call me if you have any power to help me!

''Kevin did send Osvaldo to call me, it has been 8 days and he has not told me anyting about a solution.  I am waiting.  You would think that since I sent them a copy of the written agreement, a copy of the voice recording as the manager dictated the agreement to me, and a copy of the recording of the agent that said they would return my account from uverse300 to 200 because the previous agent said he would lower my bill and raise my service, and all he did was raise my service and my bill.   Then she offered me a discount for all this abuse AT&T has put me through  since MARCH!!!!

 

So I sent 2 recordings and 1 document signed by store manager and they can't figure it out yet. Osvaldo asked for all the documents, but does not have any solution whatsoever, yet.  I hope he does.  Or I will keep trying by all means.   THIS IS WRONG!!  IT IS BULLYING THE CUSTOMER!!  Just 'cause they can.  and they have me stuck.  Give me my 3 phones back, I will give you yours back, and I am out of the deal, or make it right.  But they do neither, they just steal, and tell me I have not choice but to take it.   THIS IS WRONG!!!  WRONG!!! WRONG!!!

 

And I appreciete you linking this to support!   Maybe they can look into what could take sooooooooo long when it is sooo simple.

(Shaking my head).  

Any answer would be better than none.   Be prepared for " ...the store employee had no right or offer an expired promotion".  Or something to that effect.  Given the time and lack of communication, they may give in, even if it was an error.

The employees they hire represent them.  There is no way to talk to AT&T except through a person they hire.  And when that representative speaks, AT&T speaks.  When an agent of AT&T signs a document, AT&T signs.   There is no way to make a deal with AT&T unless there is a person they hire involved. So if AT&T made a mistake, they need to honor it.  If they can't possibly honor it, then give me my 3 phones back and a refund for what I have paid, and we can call it off.  But I am not prepared to be stuck in a bad deal because they made a mistake in their favor. And then another!!!  Somehow trying to resolve this I am now on uverse 300 and paying $50 more a month,  and no one can take that off.   I DONT WANT UVERSE 300    So I am not prepared to pay for their mistake.  When I make a mistake r drop my phone without insurance, I have to pay for my mistakes.  I don't ask them to pay for my mistakes.

 

I can hear that the agent had no right.  But that might be true.  But it has happened 3 times since December.  SO THEY HAVE A PROBLEM< AND THEY NEED TO FIX IT>  I WILL NOT PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES>   THEY NEED TO make this right, fire o retrain, but that is not my fault that they have employees that do bad things.    that is their problem.  NOT MINE>  

 

One time a teen driverl hit my husbands car, and said "well I did not mean to.  It was a mistake"   so who do you think pays for that mistake?      THe one that made the mistake.   THAt is who,,     I did not make a mistake.  I trusted AT&T .  That is all I did, and I got it in writing.  All that is the right thing. I could not have done more to protect myself against their errors.  But these are their errors.

So it has been almost 20 days since my post here, and I stil don't have an answer.  Kevin, and his assistant Osvaldo promised to help, but they are leaving me hanging.  Osvaldo promised a call on Monday but no call at all.  ?????????????????????????  HOW HARD COULD IT BE?  They have no problem siging me up, taking my money, and my phones, when they make mistakes, or pursposefull stealing and fraud, they are very slow to address.  I started trying ot fix this in MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And everyg agent understands the problem, but NOBODY has power to fix the "mistake"  .  Rather they add services to my bill I clearly don't want and RAISE my bill.    So more theft.   I call for help and get NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

 

But how quick to sell they are!  Apparantly they sign you up.  Mess you up, and then wll I have been paying for something I don't want, and did not sign up for since March!!!! And NOBODY can help me.  They are all HELPLESS!!!!!!!!  Really?  or is this how you wear people down,  and hope they just give up and keep letting you steal from them????????????

Going back to my original post... The offers made were not in any of the ATT publications.

The error was made when Leclerc made you offers that did not exist at the time and had no right to make.   

Since all offers are published on the website, AT&T has the right to stand by its published prices and offers.  

The "run around" is ATT trying not to flat out say anything negative.   

I did not expect it to be resolved in your favor.  I did expect ATT to contact you and resolve the issue with an explaination.

1-  WHEN ATT MAKES AN Offer.  They should honor it.  I have it in writing and recorded.  ATT hired a man to represent them, and two men, because it was a sales person that made the offer and the manager that reverified the offer and signed the document.  Then ATT Made an offer.  In writing to me.   So if he had nor right, then take it out of his salary, not mine.  I did not do anything wrong other than to trust AT&T and even got it in writing!!!

 

2- They offered me something else.  when I called to get this fixed, the agent on the phone said he had no power to fix that but could lower my monthly uverse bill.  Instead he added services by upgrading me to uver300 and RAISED MY monthly bill.   When I called back to scream abou that the next agent offered to fix and return me to att200 and lower my total montly bill for a year since I have been with ATT UVERSE for years.   All this is on my record. And she lowers it for 1 month and then back to UVERSE#300 and the higher bill???]

 

So this is more than a one time thing.  This is written on my record because the next agent could see it, but she said, the offer the previous agent gave to lower my bill no longer existed!!!! WHAT!!>????????

Does anybody here have any integrity?   Do you go to the car dealership, buy a car at a discount, trade your old one in.   And then 3 months later you owe the discount back to them?    ...because the salesman made an offer he had no right to offer?  

 

Well maybe you can get out of the deal, if they gave you your old car back and you coudl return the new one to them.  But that is not being offered!!!  THe only offer I get, by silence, is I have to take it.  Like it or not I have to take it!    I did not agree to the deal ATT has me stuck in!! 

 

DOES ANYBODY UNDERSTAND THAT??
