Someone stole my AT&T Phone Number

Without my authorization my phone number has been stolen and transferred to T-Mobile. When I called At&T they told me they need to "investigate" and can take up to 5 days. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. My phone number is used for work and the only phone line I have. I have been with AT&T for over 20 years and need my phone number back ASAP. Thank you.

This forum is not customer support. No one here can get it back for you. Stealing a number is a specific act likely targeted at you. If that number is used to verify accounts or for resetting passwords to accounts, I highly suggest you secure all of those accounts ASAP.

Sandblaster. The response you provided feels like some sort of dodge. "No one here can get it back for you" you write, but you also effectively cut-off all dialogue around this issue. If you can't be helpful remain silent!

@OldRunnerGuy You've already started your own thread; there's no need to dredge up an old one, too. This thread will be closed.
