secondary account holder

I made a secondary account for our phone service with att.  I no longer want to have this as we are getting a divorce. He wants me to be there because he thinks I'll have to pay his bill.  I have another phone already with a new company.  Thanks!

This is a customer based forum, not a way to reach AT&T. If you want to cancel you will need to call.

Accounts only have one owner. Anyone else can only be listed as an authorized user. So those secondary can manage the account (make changes, discuss billing, etc.) but only the actual account owner is responsible for the bill.

One option would be for the account owner to release a line to be taken over. You can do a Transfer of Billing Responsibility on a line by line basis. The new owner of the line is only responsible for charges once it is under their information. www.att.com/tobr

But for cancellation, the account owner or an authorized user must call AT&T. This is a public forum of other customers so we cannot do that for you.
